Expressions of interest are invited to provide primary medical services under a General Medical Services Contract for approximately 11,500 patients in the Livingston area of West Lothian. The GMS services are provided from NHS Lothian owned premises at Carmondean Centre, Livingston. EH54 8PY.

This is an excellent opportunity to improve health outcomes and NHS Lothian would welcome applications from interested parties that will deliver high quality primary medical services responsive to the needs of the patient population. As well as delivering essential services, the successful provider will be expected to offer a range of additional and enhanced services.

You must have a Diploma in Podiatric Medicine and HCPC registration as well as local Analgesia Certificate Working knowledge of Policies, Procedures and Protocols relevant to Podiatry in NHS Lanarkshire e.g Infection Control and Health and Safety. It is essential that you have knowledge of drugs and medicaments and be able to ability to work flexibly and respond to changing needs. It is essential that you have good communication and excellent time management skills as well as the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team. You should be able to demonstrate excellent team working skills with the ability to work using own initiative.
