MEDICAL PRACTICE VACANCY

Expressions of interest are invited to provide primary medical services under a General Medical Services Contract or Primary Medical Services Agreement in a new practice located in Newtongrange, Midlothian from a building owned by NHS Lothian.

The provider will need to grow the practice list up to circa 5,000 patients. This is an excellent opportunity to improve health outcomes and NHS Lothian would welcome applications from interested parties that will deliver high quality primary medical services responsive to the needs of these patients. As well as delivering essential services, the successful provider will be expected to offer a range of additional and enhanced services.

It is a requirement that all applicants meet the criteria of section 17L of the National Health Service (Scotland) Act 1978, as amended.

MID ARGYLL COMMUNITY HOSPITAL & INTEGRATED CARE CENTRE

This is a band 6 post based in the physiotherapy outpatient department of Mid Argyll Community Hospital & Integrated Care Centre (MACHICC) in Lochgilphead.
The post will mainly cover MSK outpatient services, however there will be referrals relating to mobility, neurological conditions, women's health etc. The post holder will also be required to provide cover for the wards of MACHICC during perids of annual leave, therefore experience will be requred across a broad range of physiotherapy services.

Lochgilphead is located in central Argyll yet within 2 hours drive of the central belt.

A relocation package may be available.
