MEDICAL PRACTICE VACANCY

Expressions of interest are invited to provide primary medical services under a General Medical Services Contract for approximately 2,240 patients in the Ratho area of Edinburgh. The GMS services are provided from NHS Lothian leased premises at Ratho Surgery, 11 Baird Road, Ratho, Newbridge, EH28 8RA.

This is an excellent opportunity to improve health outcomes and NHS Lothian would welcome applications from interested parties that will deliver high quality primary medical services responsive to the needs of the patient population. As well as delivering essential services, the successful provider will be expected to offer a range of additional and enhanced services.

It is a requirement that all applicants meet the criteria of section 17L of the National Health Service (Scotland) Act 1978, as amended.

THURSO, HIGHLANDS, SCOTLAND (www.thursohalkirkmp.co.uk) ADDITIONAL PARTNER REQUIRED We are looking for an additional partner to join our innovative GMS practice in an area of outstanding local beauty in the North of Scotland. This is an opportunity to feel the real benefit of a remote and rural quality of life and practice, without the isolation which can sometimes be experienced. We require an enthusiastic, hardworking and committed GP who will play an active role within the practice to maintain our values and help develop patient services for the future. This is an exciting time for general practice in Scotland and our multi disciplinary team is committed to providing high quality health care with a wide range of innovative services tailored to meet the needs of our patients. • 4 – 9 sessions (but could be flexible and willing to consider any variation in work patterns) • Non Equity or Equity Partner position • Good work/life balance achieved.
