MEDICAL PRACTICE VACANCY

Expressions of interest are invited to provide primary medical services under a General Medical Services Contract for approximately 11,500 patients in the Livingston area of West Lothian. The GMS services are provided from NHS Lothian owned premises at Carmondean Centre, Livingston. EH54 8PY.

This is an excellent opportunity to improve health outcomes and NHS Lothian would welcome applications from interested parties that will deliver high quality primary medical services responsive to the needs of the patient population. As well as delivering essential services, the successful provider will be expected to offer a range of additional and enhanced services.

St Margaret of Scotland Hospice seeks a highly motivated and organised, customer focused Cook – Relief Chef / Supervisor for its Catering operations. Although a background in catering is essential, equally important is a positive can-do attitude along with demonstrable people skills to motivate, coach and lead staff to consistently produce, present and serve a range of quality foods and beverages for patients, visitors and staff.
 
 
How to apply:
 
This post will require the ability to work flexibly and at weekends. The post requires both ability and “flair” to produce a variety of hot and cold food and to work with a small complement of chefs and restaurant staff. A sound knowledge of Food Hygiene evidenced by the relevant Certificate is essential along with previous experience in a similar or related role. A flexible but orderly approach to work in a busy kitchen and restaurant accompanied by sound knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation are vital.
